Q: How do I find out the bus schedules and fares?

A: You can either log on to apexbus.com or call our Toll Free number at 1-888-688-0898 to find out.

Q: Where Can I purchase a bus ticket?

A: You can purchase a ticket online by logging on to our website at www.apexbus.com, DC, MD and VA customers can buy tickets at local grocery stores. For the nearest store near you, click here. You can also call our Toll Free number at 1-888-688-0898 to find out the nearest ticket agent to you, or by simply showing up at one of our terminal locations and purchase a ticket on spot. Q: What types of payment are acceptable online?

A: Currently, we accept Visa,Master Card,American Express, Discover online and we are looking forward to expanding our payment method in the near future.

Q: How do I purchase an online e-ticket?

A: Step1: Visit our web site at www.apexbus.com , then search the bus ticket you would like to buy. Registration is not required to buy tickets online. However, we highly recommend you register with us. This way, you can track all your order history. 

Step 2: Add your desired bus schedule to cart, and continue shopping until you want to do a final check-out.

Step 3: After you submit your credit card information at the end of the check-out process, you will be confirmed by two emails which are sent to your email address provided. One is your transaction receipt; the other one is the e-bus ticket that you have to print out to be presented at boarding.

Q: What do I have to do if I didn't receive my e-bus tickets 10 minutes after my online purchase?

A: Send email to sales@apexbus.com, our customer service will assist you to get your tickets.

Q: Do you allow pet animals on the bus?

A: No pets are allowed on the bus except service animals. The service animal is the responsibility of its owner and must be under the control of its owner at all times (i.e., leash, harness or carrier). Service animals must ride in the bus within the customer`s space and may not travel in the aisle or occupy a seat. We reserve the right to refuse passage to any animal that poses a direct threat to the health and safety of other customers or personnel.

Q: Do you offer a discount for children or seniors?

A: Children under 2 ride for free but cannot occupy a seat if that bus is fully booked. No other discounts are offered.

Q: What should I do if I don't have a printer to print out my e-bus ticket?

A: Under current company policy, you have to print out the e-bus ticket for boarding. If you have specific questions, please call our Toll Free number at 1-888-688-0898, our professionally trained representative will help you immediately.

Q: How early do I have to arrive at bus station before any scheduled departure time?

A: For people who bought tickets online, they have to arrive in the station at least 30 minutes prior to their departure time to guarantee their seats. For all other customers, all seats are served on first-come, first-served basis. Check out our blog to see the boarding sequence.


Q: Is there any assigned seating on ApexBus buses?

A: No. It is first come, first serve.

Q: How much luggage is allowed on board?

A: One piece of big luggage and two small carry-on luggage are within normal acceptable range. Any specific concern for luggage information can be answered by dialing our Toll Free number at 1-888-688-0898.

Q: Can I get a refund after I purchased a ticket but I couldn't make the trip or failed to catch the bus?

A: Under current company policy, we don't give a refund under these circumstances; Please be aware of this policy before you make up your mind for the actual purchase.

Q: Can I buy tickets online for someone else who will actually travel with the bus?

A: Yes. You simply put traveler's name in Ticket Holder field in the item lists in your Shopping Cart and check out when you finish shopping.
